THE ORIGINAL STORY SCRIPT
The original idea as written by Nathan Van Hare was penciled onto a scrap of paper that happened to be near his desk -- the story concept survived from the first draft right to the end of the filmmaking project.

The drawings for the movie were based on the style of Ed Emberley. His children's art books have been a real inspiration for both Holly and Nathan in the making of this movie.
